It’s All About Balance

Too much or too little of anything isn’t a good thing. Scarcity is bad, and so is excessiveness. Not having enough food leads to starvation and too much leads to gluttony. This concept applies to much more.

Finding balance is the never-ending struggle in life.

Balance applies to everything. Be passionate about what you do, but don’t be obsessed to the point where you’re ignoring your friends and family. Be compassionate, but not gullible. Expect more from life, but don’t get greedy.

It’s hard to be perfectly balanced, and it’s okay if things aren’t right now. That’s the challenge in life. You’re working towards balance and when you get there, the challenge is maintaining it.

Life works best when things are in balance.

Accept Yourself

Every single day, you get a chance to be who you want to be. Be the version of yourself that you’re proud to be.

Be yourself. No one else has your ideas and experience. No one else lives life in your shoes and sees life through your lenses. You are truly unique.

You may face pressure that threatens your self-identity. You might be pressured to conform the standards of the people around you or just give in to lower expectations. You don’t have to give in.

Accept yourself. It’s okay to push yourself to be better and still be content with who you are. Being happy with yourself is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself.
