Having a routine is good to maintain a consistent lifestyle. Stability is good; many people I know would love to have some stability in their life. Consistency is good, but growth is better.
Growth improves your quality of life in many ways. You can improve in your physical strength or physical health. You can grow in the quality and quality of relationships with the people in your life. You can increase your income and/or your net worth. You can further your education and earn more degrees or learn more skills. There are so many different ways to grow.
The only real way to grow is to move yourself out of your comfort zone. It's pushing yourself to do what you're not normally used to. It's getting yourself to try something you've always wanted to do or never have done before. Sometimes that something new that you've never done before is something important that you've needed to do for a while (like going to the dentist or exercising regularly).
Growing isn't easy. Pushing yourself to be out of your comfort zone requires hard work. It requires you to trust that it'll be worth it in the long run. It requires you to struggle and face challenges that you've never encountered before. Growth requires effort, but it's worth it.
