There is one powerful secret that many people go through their entire life not knowing, and I'm going to tell you now: you have the power to define your own life.

Whether you realize it or not, you have that power, and in a way, you've always had that. It's the ability to unleash your potential. It's being able to make conscious decisions to improve your own life. It's truly understanding that you are in control of your own life. You may not realize it now, but you'll eventually learn this over time.

You Define Who You Are

At every stage in your life, you get do define who you are. You choose who you want to be and the person who you are becoming. You choose how you want people to remember you. Choose wisely.

Each and every day, I choose to be a responsible, disciplined, and loving person. It's a promise I make to myself and everyone around me each day. You can be positive or negative, happy or angry, or anything else you choose to be.

You Define What Makes You Happy

What makes other people happy doesn't necessarily make you happy. It all depends on your values. Are you fulfilled by making money or making a difference?

How much friendship do you need to satisfy your heart? Is it a certain number of friends, the quality of friendship, or a combination of both? You decide.

That doesn't only apply to friendship; it applies to everything.

You Define Your Own Version of Success

I wish you all the success in the world, and I promise that I'll do my best to get you there. In every stage of your life, you will be able to define your own version of success. Just like happiness, you define it for yourself. It's different for everybody. You get to choose your criteria for success.

You choose your own expectations. You choose your own timeline. You choose how to get there. When you realize this, you'll realize you have so much power in your potential.

The fun part is pushing yourself forward every day in your own personal adventure called life.
